26/01/16
Today has been wet, but not as wet as it was forecast to be, and thank goodness for that. It is still January and I've seen enough rain to last me until next autumn, late autumn at that. Other than being wet and the fact that I had to deliver a tonne of horse feed to Halifax, what a fun day. As usual with horse places everyone is strangely absent when there is any work to do. Perhaps there was a horse in need of patting! But on the good side the carry was good, clean and on concrete. At least it wasn't through ankle deep mud and water like the last horse place I delivered to. But apart from that and the wet I have had a pleasant day and I'm loaded or nearly so for tomorrow. I did see a very strange sight and I'm not talking about the cyclist in skin tight purple lycra, though that was very weird enough and possibly perverted. No the strangest thing was a man walking two terriers, both were wearing skin tight hi viz lycra. Unlike the cyclist I'm sure it wasn't their own choice and I'm sure their owner intended well. See you tomorrow.
