I'm still here but haven't managed to switch my computer on.  Even though I have switched off automatic updates it's still slowing down.  In my opinion automatic updates are designed to ensure most computers grind to a halt in around three years in the hope that you the user will be forced into buying a new machine which will only last another three years.  So as to stop those of us who circumvent this by switching off the damned updates they invented the abomination Windows 8 and when it proved to be so poor that users were refusing to buy they modified it and called it Windows 10 which I don't like either.  In my opinion Microsoft haven't made any improvements since windows XP and that wasn't much better than Windows 95.  I'm thinking of trying a chrome book when I have to upgrade.  I will be back.
