Today was just as irritating as I expected. I was back in the yard in good time yesterday so l managed to get loaded for this morning. Guess where for, yes Malton store, about a five min drive from the yard and they don't open until eight or just after. Great!. So I didn't start until seven, fuelled up and got a brake light bulb replaced before setting off. All done easily enough but now for the irritation. My second load, not a problem but as soon as I saw the drops it was obvious that it would be a six finish and it was a quarter past six when I clocked off. What I don't understand is why the hell anyone is going to the closer stores for eight. They should be serviced by the first one back. I don't like wasting time first thing to end the day messing about in the dark at my last couple of deliveries. It's dangerous and stupid. See you tomorrow.
