Its Sunday and No I'm not at work. Its just that I've been very lax this week so I thought I'd best say something otherwise people might have thought I forgotten about the blog. On Friday, at least I think it was Friday, I was listening to BBC Radio 4 again, bad habit? Well possibly. But it was announced that thirty four people had been made redundant because they were being replaced by AI. Yes artificial intelligence took thirty four jobs in Japan. More losses are predicted to AI in the coming years. This made me think. If everyone is made redundant and replaced buy AI what will people do for money? When everyone has run out of money how are people going to buy the goods and services that are produced by the AI units? If people can't purchase the goods and services produced by the AI units what is the point of the AI units? The AI units are producing things that can't be sold so they are no longer needed, therefore they are made redundant. So what use replacing people with AI. Just something to think about for a Sunday night.
See you tomorrow.
