23/02/15

Today has been sunny with enough wind to be irritating when I opened the sheets.  I had Carlton store and four drops spread between Cawood and Hive near Gilberdyke.  After that I had a collection of chicken grit from Saxilby.  This involved a run across the Humber bridge, I always enjoy a ride across the bridge, especially on a bright blustery day like today.  The collection is one I like, the yard is tidy and the loading quick and efficient.  The only problem is the A15 to Lincoln, it has too many speed cameras for my comfort.  I ran out of hours for the second time of the day on the way back, strange how I had to stop near a fish and chip shop.  They didn't take a card which limited my choice but the sausage, chips and curry sauce were very good.  I can recommend running out of driving time in the lay by at Deighton, I'll be doing it again, given half a chance.

The sheep got quite excited, for sheep, when I unloaded a tonne of sheep feed.  I think they expected me to feed them as well.
