09/01/15

That was the first full week of the new year just gone and normality has returned in full force.  Thank goodness!  It's not that I dislike the festive season its just that it always seems to get in the way at the end of the year before you can get along with life.  Friday went well, the first load was a full load to Kirkbymoorside store which isn't a long drive from base and if I'm loaded the night before, gives me an extra half hour in bed.  I enjoy sleeping I should do more of it, infact that would make a good new years resolution.  The second load wasn't complicated, mostly fencing timber to Carlton store for stock with only one farm drop at West Haddersley to one of my regular customers.  Then a collection of one IBC full of fish oil from Old Gool to go back to base.  I got back in time to unload the fish oil and check the seed dresser for Monday.  Guess what?  The generator set wouldn't start, battery OK but something wrong with the electrics.  Wonder if our mechanical geniuses will get it started for Monday.  Don't know what I'm doing on Monday if it won't start.  No doubt I'll find out on Monday morning.  See you Monday.
